Our Business Journey
Meet my son Jack! He’s my business partner and the true inspiration behind My Sensory Mind.
We love sensory play! For many reasons including the screen free play it provides, the endless play opportunities it creates, the developmental benefits and my favourite being the me time I am blessed with as my kids are so engaged with both independent and together play sensory play offers.
I was never satisfied with the quality or cost of other sensory play kits available so Jack, Ryan and I started creating sensory play setups together at home. It was Jack who suggested that we should sell our sensory play creations, and My Sensory Mind began.
Jack is the sensory expert behind our products! Our product themes come from our love of books and story time together.
We love our sensory kits and we hope you love them too!
Bookish Sensory Play
Bookish sensory play is a delightful way to engage young minds through tactile experiences inspired their favorite stories. By incorporating elements from books, such as textures, scents, and sounds, children can immerse themselves in the world of literature while enhancing their sensory development. Activities might include creating a sensory bin themed around a beloved book or using props that represent characters and settings. This hands-on approach encourages a love for reading.
